Custom Figure

This project is much different than the other work shown here; it all stems from trying to make a gift for my brother’s 30th birthday. It started out as a simple request to make him a particular Pokemon character he loves: Blastoise. When we were kids, I had the red version of the Pokemon game featuring Charizard, and my brother had the blue version featuring Blastoise. What started as a simple request kept growing and evolving as it just inspired me to try and make something really unique and special for my brother’s milestone birthday.

These are the 8 various gym badges based off of landmarks from our local hometown area. There’s tons of little Easter eggs found within this illustration. For example, the Charizard is next to my house, the Blastoise is next to my brothers.
